Album Cover Meme

requiem for a dream eye

Make Your Own:

1 - Name of band: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random

2 - Tile of album: last four or five words of the last quote on http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3

3 - Album cover: third picture on http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days

4 - Assemble in photoshop or paint or whatever

1 came from Stetson University Campus Historic District. I assume the band formed while in school and wanted a name that would make people say "That's a weird name for a band."

2 is the end of "A loud voice cannot compete with a clear voice, even if it's a whisper." -- Barry Neil Kaufman

3 is from nikkiethh and is a great fit for the album title.

4 was the GIMP because GraphicConverter didn't have very crisp text when flattening.

I enjoyed this meme, but I'm not sure where to host my results.

1. O'Grady v. Sparling, [1960] S.C.R. 804, was a landmark Supreme Court of Canada decision on the constitutionality of overlapping federal and provincial laws.

2. No matter what side of the argument you are on, you always find people on your side that you wish were on the other.
Jascha Heifetz (1901 - 1987)

3. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cityraven/3327846282/

4. I used Paint Shop Pro, cause it's handy. I used Viner Hand ITC as the font.

I think it would make an interesting Irish rap album.

Campus Historic District comes of age with their third offering, "even if it's a whisper." Their debut album, "A Loud Voice", showed promising musicianship and technical crafting, while the follow-up, "A Clear Voice", tended to focus on theme to the detriment of presentation. "even if it's a whisper" brings the three elements of musical and thematic construction and technical engineering to a laudable maturity, with ambient techno vibes enveloping and easing the transitions for simple but thoroughly-treated themes reminiscent of Bach's "Musical Offering".

Non-fictional note: BNK is possibly my favorite author. I'm on a mailing list that sends me a quote from him every Monday, and I'm seriously considering volunteering for a couple of months at his place in Massachusetts. It's cool that he popped up for your album.
